On this plane where the sky is painted black
Where breathes are labored and the earth is cracked
Ancient lore prolific and hidden deep
Abyssal truths scholars struggle to complete
With caverns splitting into hundreds of shafts
And murky channels with sinking auras
The man walks on the abandoned past
Echoes far off of an infernal chorus
Burrowed within these damp cave walls
A hunger for knowledge becoming surreal
As he finds an unhallowed banquet hall
His hubris is met with a forbidden meal
Fulfilling his purpose he begins to consume
The spoils of hell in front of his eyes
Each bite a new secret long since entombed
Consciousness fading, he becomes mesmerized
The pungent taste of salt and sweat
Without stopping to take a breath
He devours himself a feast of flesh
Ever consuming looming death
Lurid images cerebral vomit
He wants to end but cannot stop it
Life flows down his throat without resistance
Shedding light on his own existence
He now stands before the mouth of the abyss
The more he fathoms the less he exists
A cosmic gospel swallows his mind
As upon his own bones his teeth do grind
He can finally see the horrors
That hide in the corners of the universe
No longer obscured by the hands of order
Everything he knows now twisted, perverse
Autosarcophagy, the stomach swollen about to burst
Cosmic omniscience has forever been unearthed
